The lowest-priced encapsulated O-ring is not always the lowest-cost seal. As a general guide, encapsulated O-ring pricing can range from approximately $1.50 to $750.00 per O-ring.

This is a general pricing range, not a quotation. A small standard-size seal may be relatively inexpensive. In contrast, a large, close-tolerance, documented, or high-purity seal may cost considerably more because material use, manufacturing difficulty, inspection time, and documentation requirements increase.

Standard Parts

Custom Parts

Why the Lowest Price Can Become the Highest Cost

A low purchase price looks attractive until the seal becomes the cause of downtime.

In a critical sealing application, the buyer should know what is behind the quoted price. Lower cost can sometimes reflect less documentation, less inspection, wider process variation, undocumented material origin, or limited technical support.

These differences may not be visible when the part arrives. However, they become important if the seal leaks, fails inspection, degrades early, or forces the equipment out of service.
